Don’t know if bill isn’t remembering his own story correctly. The reason (at least in the video) is that he didn’t know what “to play us out” meant. Thats also why he said “f***ing thing sucks!” (referring to the teleprompter)… Maybe his version was happening before the viral clip starts?

This entire interview was spectacular. Excellent and astonishing. Regardless of politics, one has to see that a select few are truthful and forthcoming, and others just muddy the water. Truth is truth; facts are facts; “your truth” is not “the truth”. I never understood why people used and believed the sentiment of “my truth” or “your truth”. If anyone uses those terms while addressing you or an issue, just know what they’re saying is subjective and likely false.

Almost 3 decades later, or whatever it is, people are still saying “we’ll do it live!” When confronted with a tough situation. For better or for worse, bill was always a part of my childhood. He was always on the tv growing up. He reminds me of more simple and stable times. I’ll always appreciate him for that, even though he obviously has no way of knowing about it.

When Bill is asked about his outburst, I'm always surprised that he acts like he has to feel bad or explain himself. He wasn't mean to the staff; he was ticked off about the equipment, and when it was time to roll, he was professional and delivered his lines. I can do without the profanity but the ability to deliver in crisis is endearing. Good job, Bill.
