Republican presidential primary candidate Chris Christie calls Donald Trump a ‘coward’

“There’s no other conclusion to come to that he’s both afraid of me and he’s afraid of defending his record.”

Former President Trump and Others Indicted in Efforts to Overturn 2020 Election

Chris Christie Makes Strong Comments at Atlanta Event

Monday’s indictment of former President Donald Trump and 18 others in Georgia has created a stir in the political world, with many cable television networks and potential Republican presidential candidates weighing in on the matter. One such candidate, Chris Christie, made a appearance at Eric Erickson’s the Gathering event in Atlanta, where he did not hold back in his criticism of the former president.

The former New Jersey governor, who was one of six presidential candidates attending the event, called Trump a coward for not appearing on the lineup. Christie went on to question Trump’s fear of defending his record and suggested that his legal troubles were cause for concern. “By Wednesday he’s going to be out on bail in four different jurisdictions. When are we going to stop thinking that’s normal?” Christie asked.

Is Nominating Someone with Legal Troubles a Winning Formula?

Christie’s comments raise an important question about the suitability of a candidate with legal troubles seeking the presidency. As the 2024 election looms closer, voters will have to decide whether they are comfortable with a nominee who is facing multiple indictments. What do you think? Is it appropriate for someone with legal issues to run for the highest office in the land? Leave a comment below and let us know your thoughts.

Watching Trump respond to the multiple attacks against him by Democrats and politicized prosecutors, I have to say the opposite — Trump is one of the bravest men I've seen in politics in my lifetime. I'm not even a Trumpie. Just saying the truth.

    Chris Christie In 2024!!!!!!!

  3. @studfinderball

Christie is not a maverick. He is your typical, spare no taxpayer dollar for forever wars and world domination Republican. What's to like?

  4. @markloguidice8327

Ya gotta wonder how much the communist dems are paying him to run his mouth? Everyone in the country know he has ABSOLUTELY no chance of becoming the republican nominee.

  5. @billballoo7881

Christie has no chance at winning and he actually knows this. He is in the race for one reason and one reason only – it gives him a platform to bash and get back at Trump. He's on a revenge campaign and that is the only reason he is running.

Christy is much worse than a "coward." He is a lying, blowhard traitor to the Constitution.

There's a Joke – tell the guy beating you by dozens of points how to run his campaign – Go back to NJ and try paying attention to your own campaign

Maybe Trump won’t get the nomination, for sure it wont be Chris.

  12. @linhaton4957

Nobody cares what Chris Christie had to say. He’s so boring, all he does is criticize Trump.

  13. @mygunisinnocent8028

Christie is losing it mentally. He goes around 24/7 seething with anger against Trump. He's jealous because Trump is leading in the polls, while he has around 1%

It is funny watching the doughboy in his desperation, trying to goad the King like he wants to fight in the schoolyard. That boy is just pathetic.

He just showed the American people that he is fully onboard with the dumbokkkRATs and their ridiculous, unconstitutional cases and the lawfare attempt to stop the American people from deciding who they can vote for. THAT, is the death sentence to Christie's career.

But then again, you may as well throw haymakers regarding your career when you have no career. His future in politics has the same outlook as his bariatric surgery. He will never hold political office in this country again, and he knows it. I did not say his desperation was not warranted.

Oh cool some guy who will never be president called some guy who was the president a name, that’s cute 😂

The only coward is Chris Christy who can follow his own policies. Let's now forget about the beach.

  17. @ThePopeII

Christie endorsed Trump in 2016 because he wanted to be VP, and now he’s just bitter. He needs to drop out along with Pence and Scott. We need candidates that actually have worthwhile things to say, like DeSantis, Vivek, Larry Elder, and yes, Trump himself.

  18. @cherylfelix392

who cares whar christie has to say? We know what President Trump stands for. MAGA!! Love Trump. Trump 2024!~~
